CPV Manufacturing Names Jay H. Loomis as Vice President of Sales

Company Poised for Growth with Hire of Sales and Account Management Expert

Kennett Square, PA –June 12, 2018CPV Manufacturing today announced that Jay H. Loomis has been named Vice President of Sales. Loomis will be responsible for the expansion and development of CPV’s sales team.

Prior to joining CPV, Loomis was a National Account Manager at Airgas USA where, as a Single Point of Contact, he maintained and nurtured customer relationships on a national level. His sales and account management experience spans three decades.

Loomis obtained his Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University. He continues to be an active member of his local community.

CPV Manufacturing Names Robert Cardona as Director of Engineering

Experienced Engineering and Design Veteran to Drive Innovation

Kennett Square, PA – June 12, 2018CPV Manufacturing announced today that Robert Cardona has been named Director of Engineering. Cardona will be responsible for managing the engineering team and for overseeing all engineering projects.

“We’re thrilled to have Robert join our team,” said David London, President of CPV Manufacturing. “With his strong leadership skills, innovative approach to product design, and can-do attitude, he’ll be instrumental in the invention and design of new products at CPV.”

Cardona has more than 32 years of experience in manufacturing environments. Most recently he was a Senior Engineer at Productive Plastics. Prior to that, he was at Smart-Hose Technologies where he also served as a Senior Engineer. He has four patents under his belt and played a significant role in the design of systems and components for the Aegis Radar System.

Mr. Cardona received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Drexel University. He proudly served in the United States Army and the US Air Force Civil Air Patrol.

Counterfeit Alert!

A valued customer recently informed us of the existence of a counterfeit CPV Manufacturing product.

One of several stainless steel nuts the customer purchased for use on a high-pressure tube trailer failed. The marked designation on the part was “CPV-2NUT.” Needless to say, we did not manufacture this part. We have also not authorized any third party to manufacture and sell nuts and tailpieces marked with any of the following designations:

–    CPV-2NUT
–    CPV-TP-2
–    CPV2-1NPSM

CPV Manufacturing Receives ISO 9001:2015 Certification

Kennett Square, PA – April 20, 2018 – Admiral Valve, LLC dba CPV Manufacturing announces receipt of their ISO 9001:2015 certification on April 6, 2018, for their quality management system in the design and manufacture of high-pressure valves and fittings.

The ISO 9001:2015 certification further expands CPV’s commitment to quality management and its dedication to having the highest standards in the industry. It’s evidence that the company has established a quality management system that is in conformance with the International Quality System Standard.

“We’re proud to be able to say that we’ve earned this certification,” said David London, President. “It proves to the world that we are 100 percent committed to the quality of our products and to customer satisfaction on a global scale.”

The nine-month certification process involved all employees and management at all levels, going beyond the quality control team to the entire organization. All staff, from the top of the organization down, must show that they know and understand their responsibilities for the certification to be granted. Mandatory ongoing audits serve to ensure that the quality management system is being employed effectively.

ISO (International Organization for Standardization) is an independent, non-governmental organization consisting of 161 countries. It develops quality management standards that are used worldwide, playing an important role in international trade.

ISO 9001:2015 certification is voluntary and is the only ISO Quality Management Standard for which companies can be certified. It encompasses a strong customer focus, the involvement of all personnel, and the actual processes and systems.

CPV chose American Systems Registrar, LLC of Wyoming, MI, an international provider of third-party system registration accredited by the ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board, as their partner in the ISO 9001:2015 certification.

The leadership change in October has set the company on the pathway toward transformation and strategic growth in the years to come. The new management team led by David London – President and CEO; Kelly Tomlin – CFO & Executive Vice President; has been hard at work restructuring our 103-year-old company. CPV Manufacturing Awarded Three
International Contracts in China, Indonesia, and Taiwan

Kennett Square, February 28, 2018 – Admiral Valve, LLC dba CPV Manufacturing, announced today the awarding of three exclusive contracts with companies located in mainland China, Indonesia, and Taiwan.

Diekson Industrial, Taiwan has contracted CPV Manufacturing to build valves and fittings for their client Formosa Plastic Group. Formosa has purchased and constructed many PVC factories and chemical production facilities in the US and mainland China.

David London, President of CPV Manufacturing, said, “Formosa Plastics Group reflects vertical integration of the PVC manufacturing process. We are excited to have the opportunity to provide safe, reliable, leak-proof valves and fittings and look forward to working with Formosa on the completion of this new project.”

Also announced today Qingdao Shengyi Crotech Co. Ltd., China has awarded CPV Manufacturing a contract to design and produce valves for Yankuang Group, a coal chemical industry project.

Yankuang Group is the fourth largest coal-mining state-owned energy enterprise in the People’s Republic of China. Their main involvement focuses on mining and sales, the coal-chemical industry, power generation and aluminum production and machinery manufacturing.

“We’re eager to work with Yankuang Group in building high-quality valves for their new coal chemical plant.”

London goes on to say that, “we’re also pleased to announce that Toyo Engineering, Korea, and CPV Manufacturing have signed an agreement to supply valves for PT Chandra Asri Petrochemical in Indonesia.”

PT Chandra is the biggest integrated petrochemical company in Indonesia and is the largest Polypropylene producer in the country. “We’re very excited to produce products for the PT Chandra petrochemical factory and look forward to partnering with them in the future.”

London expresses his enthusiasm as “CPV Manufacturing continues to grow and expand into overseas markets.”

Kennett Square, PA (January 23, 2018) – Admiral Valve, LLC, parent company of CPV® Manufacturing and global leader and manufacturer of CPV high-pressure valves and fittings for industrial gas, petrochemical and shipbuilding industry applications, today announced an exclusive distribution agreement with ChemFlow Products, LLC. ChemFlow Products, based in Conroe, Texas, has a strong national sales presence in the chlorine industry. The partnership will further connect CPV to the Gulf Coast region, providing the Petrochemical market sector with valuable access to CPV valves.
